What is LegacySnap? LegacySnap allows you to experience again the old Snapchat clients in 2023.
What works:
Everything that isn't listed below:
Snap Updates, push notifucations, editing settings,

Status: Security is partially improved. Additionally a code clean up is required.

Other api documentation: instagram (made by me) soon ; Vine (have to find the link lol)

Soon (i hope). First i need to finish the migration from storing user data in a txt file hidden away to a mysql database and open sourcing it ( not sure when i am going to do that). For legacygram i have made the upload scripts that will upload images to a folder and a basic timeline script.

just get rid of user data
most people just forget their account when they get logged out and make a new one anyways

Yeah i did delete all user data after the post. Something that I didn’t mention is that i am almost done with converting legacysnap to use a mysql db. To some people this is simple, but i have never done it. When i complete it i will update this post with a download link.

also do you know what media.vineapp.com/upload/avatars/1.3.3.jpg would return? (im making a vine revival like revined because revined is private) its a image uploading api and i got it to upload images successfully but i dont know the return json, causing the app to hang on a loading screen until restarted. ive tried {"code": "", "success": true, "error": ""} as it seems to work with other apis

its seems like a file but its a put request so it wont be archived
vine likes using put requests, which are like upload and post combined but i just point them to a php file
im pretty sure the upload response might be the same for videos
how did you get profile pictures uploading working?
