Go to Cydia add repo http://cydia.invoxiplaygames.uk then install Checkmate, Store! and that should stop apps from saying they are incompatible and instead will offer you the last compatible version if possible when you try to download them.

thats because the app doesen't have an ios 5 version. try another appapplestore says you need to update ios even though i have logged in and installed check, store!
