Can't get ipainstaller to work in iOS 5.1.1

I have
-Jail broken phone using absinthe
-Installed AppSync Unified
-Installed Ipainstaller
-scp'd .ipa files as per this forum's guide.

every verified working app I have tried all end up with this Error.

"Please make sure you have appsync (or similar) installed for your iOS version"

I tried reinstalling both appsync and ipainstaller, rebooting, but I am not having any luck.
