I have an Alpine car radio and it had a dedicated function for this, but sadly the app got discontinued in 2014.
I searched ages for this and i remembered i had it on my old apple id so i downloaded it and it still works.
I have also posted the iOS 6 version of the app.
This app may work under iOS 4, but i'm not certain of that.
